Get Your Rear in Gear: Have your say!
Monday, August 7, 2017
Thank you for supporting the third annual Get Your Rear in Gear-Green Bay presented by Aurora BayCare Medical Center.
Now we’d like to know about your race-day experience.
You’ll soon receive an email from Get Your Rear in Gear containing a link to a short survey that will ask questions about the race, your thoughts on how things went and any suggestions for improvements. In case you miss or don’t immediately receive the email, here’s a link to the survey.
“We want to continue to offer a great 5K run/walk experience while also helping to raise colon cancer awareness,” race director Mike Schmidt said. “Your feedback is important to our ongoing efforts. We’re looking for participants’ thoughts about the event, the set-up, the course and more.”
The annual event is intended to raise awareness of colon cancer and better educate the public about the importance of appropriate colon cancer screenings and early detection. The event, which offers a 5K (3.1-mile) run and a 1.5-mile walk, is a program of the Minneapolis-based Colon Cancer Coalition. The group promotes national awareness of colon cancer and encourages increased use of screenings.
Aurora BayCare Medical Center is the Green Bay event’s presenting sponsor.
The third annual Get Your Rear in Gear-Green Bay drew almost 300 registrants, an increase of 60 percent from the previous year. Thanks, everyone!
