What our volunteers do


 

Replenishment Workers

On Saturday, June 3, we will need help moving snacks, water, and other rest stop supplies that need replenishment! Volunteers are required to be 16 years or older with a valid driver’s license and should provide their own vehicle. Estimated time: variable between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

 

Packet Pick-Up & Rider Registration

Join us on Saturday, June 3, to help set-up and run our packet pick-up booth for pre-registered riders. Volunteers should be comfortable working in a fast pace environment and have strong computer skills. Estimated time: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

 

Phone Support

Join us on Saturday, June 3, for a very important role! Volunteers need to communicate issues to our on-call SAG drivers and medical response team. Required to be 21 years or older, have a cell phone, strong computer skills, and the ability to understand maps software. Estimated time: 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

Rest Stop Workers

Come cheer on the riders at one of our six rest stops by handing out water and snacks! Volunteers will be responsible for setting up the rest stop, serving snacks to riders, providing information about the course, and assist in the closing of the rest stop. Come ready to be active and on your feet! This is a great opportunity to volunteer with a group. Rest stop locations include Green Bay, Forestville, Kewaunee, Luxemburg, and Algoma. Estimated time: variable between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (end time based on when the riders finish)

 

Spotter/SAG Driver

On Saturday, June 3, we need volunteers to drive the three routes while assisting the riders. Volunteers must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver’s license, cell phone, and a vehicle that is able to carry a bicycle. Also, volunteers are required to have intermediate to experienced biking skills and knowledge of basic bike repair including fixing flat tires and resetting chains. Estimated time: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

Post-Meal Support

Come help us celebrate on Saturday, June 3, after the riders finish the course! Volunteers will help serve our post-race meal and pour beverages for our riders and family at the finish line. Volunteers will need to wear closed-toe shoes and have their hair tied back. Estimated time: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
