Orthopaedic medicine is the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system including the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves. Our Orthopaedic Surgeons possess skills in all aspects of physical exam, radiographic study and medical and surgical treatment of disorders of bone and joints. ACL Injuries in Female Athletes – WBAY – May 2010 WBAY Channel 2 News’ 2 Your Health, Green Bay, spotlights the increased frequency of Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) knee injuries to young female athletes compared to that of their male counterparts. Aurora BayCare Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center has developed a training program to help athletes avoid such injuries.
