BayCare Clinic’s Anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) provide Aurora BayCare Medical Center and Aurora BayCare Health Center with high quality anesthesia care. Practicing alongside our surgeons, BayCare Clinic anesthesiologists and CRNA’s assist with pain management, administering both general anesthesia and local anesthesia.
The BayCare Clinic Anesthesia team is responsible for medical management and anesthetic care of patients throughout the duration of surgery providing a safe, professional and comfortable experience. The type of anesthesia used is determined by the Anesthesiologist based on the needs of the patient, their medical condition and the requirements of the surgery. Communication between Anesthesiologist and patient is vital to the anesthesia process; therefore it is important that the patient meet with the Anesthesiologist before the surgery to answer questions about their medical history and any medications they are taking.
BayCare Clinic Anesthesiologists and CRNA’s provide patients with all types of state of the art anesthesia services for a wide variety of surgeries and procedures. For your peace of mind, the anesthesiologists follow the guidelines established by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) and The Joint Commission.
