A board certified orthopaedic surgeon with BayCare Clinic and Aurora Medical Group since 2001, Dr. Henry is the Medical Director of Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine in Green Bay and Manitowoc.
After receiving his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School, Dr. Henry completed his orthopedic surgery training at University Hospital, New York, and his fellowship training in sports medicine at Ohio State University. As an active member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), Dr. Henry has presented original research at various national meetings and has published articles on a variety of sports medicine care for individuals and teams at all levels of competition. In addition to AOSSM, he is also an active member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Dr. Henry’s athletic background includes participation in varsity Crew (rowing) while at UW-Madison ’87-91. He currently enjoys cross-country skiing, cycling and running.

Jon Henry, MD, was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) on February 14, 2007, during ceremonies at the Academy's 74th Annual Meeting in San Diego.

ACL Injuries in Female Athletes – WBAY – May 2010 WBAY Channel 2 News’ 2 Your Health, Green Bay, spotlights the increased frequency of Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) knee injuries to young female athletes compared to that of their male counterparts. Aurora BayCare Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center has developed a training program to help athletes avoid such injuries. BayCare Clinic orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Jon Henry, discusses how young females and males differ, and why females are four to six times more likely to have an ACL injury.
