Hand and Wrist Surgery

At BayCare Clinic Plastic Surgery, our surgeons have extensive training and experience in hand surgery.  We treat a wide spectrum of hand and wrist related conditions caused by traumatic injuries, degenerative conditions, or workplace exposure.

Our hand surgeons, Dr. Zasuly and Dr. Schmidt, treat common hand problems such as tendon and nerve lacerations, trigger fingers, fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, and wrist pain.

In addition to common hand problems, Dr. Schmidt has additional orthopedic hand surgery fellowship training, equipping him to treat other conditions such as rheumatoid and osteoarthritis of the wrist and hand, ligament injuries in the wrist, and wrist fractures.

After any hand surgery, we work closely with our hand therapists who help provide patients with the optimum outcome for their hand or wrist condition.
