    A board certified Neurosurgeon with BayCare Clinic since 2008, Dr. Wesley Griffitt has special interests in minimally invasive spinal procedures and clinical research.

    After receiving his medical degree from the University of Kansas, Kansas City, KS, he completed his Internship at University of Kansas Medical Center and his residency at Loyola University Medical Center - Neurosurgery,IL. Dr. Griffitt received additional training at the University of Vienna, Austria and the Queen's Square Neurologic Institute, London, England. He maintains an active membership of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, AO Spine and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He is also a Fellow in the  American College of Surgeons

    Outside of neurosurgery, Dr. Griffitt takes pleasure in spending time with his family and enjoys biking and cross country skiing.
