Through BayCare Clinic physicians' collaboration with Aurora BayCare Medical Center (ABMC) and other Aurora facilities, we strive to provide outpatient and inpatient care in a holistic dimension (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social). We recognize that health status affects more than the body. BayCare Clinic networks with a variety of resources throughout the community to achieve the holistic approach.

As a minority owner of ABMC, BayCare Clinic is interested in the quality processes and outcomes of the hospital. ABMC has its own nurses and other personnel, of course, who are under ABMC's supervision, and not the Clinic's. Nevertheless, quality components are intertwined between hospital and Clinic, so measurements of hospital quality often provide a sense of clinic quality and vice versa. BayCare Clinic physicians have a direct impact on the care of their patients hospitalized at ABMC. In addition, BayCare Clinic, as part owner, holds leadership roles that guide the direction of the hospital.

At the hospital and at the Clinic, quality measurements are evolving rapidly. BayCare Clinic and ABMC invest resources independently and collaboratively to improve quality measurement and reporting.
